 This is a sleazy WW2 Nazi camp movie which plays more like a black comedy. In this film the poor female POW's get raped and groped by all and sundry at the camp. In an amusing comic twist the commandant decides he wants a new pair of testicles and so removes them from one of the hunky guards. The guard doesn't seem to realise he's been castrated until he goes to bonk one of the French prisoners. This provides one of the most amusing scenes when he confronts the commandant and says "you Bastard. what have you done with my Balls?".

Movie Trivia:
- The graphic advertising for this movie sparked off the "video-nasty" debate in early 1982 in the United Kingdom. The BBFC later passed the film completely uncut in 2005 with the following comment, "The content of the film is in fact very mild and poorly executed. If anything, it was the title of the film and its original packaging that led to difficulties, rather than the content. The idea of the film may, of course, be offensive to some but that is not a good enough reason to cut or reject it. We would only cut or reject a film for adults if the content was illegal or harmful. "SS Experiment Camp" is neither illegal or harmful, just tasteless." It was eventually released in October 2006 with different artwork.

Early 2006 UK DVD releases of the film on the Blackhorse label mistakenly featured the 1981 film "Love Camp" (aka Die Todesgöttin des Liebescamps (1981)) and even included photographs of star Laura Gemser on the reverse sleeve. This was corrected by the second release of the DVD and can be identified by the replacement of the photos with text on the reverse.
