- As the cast members testified during a special screening in New York (during the fall of 2007), most of the crew spoke only Italian, causing many doubts about how the movie would work. Furthermore, the director insisted that the lines in the script be recited verbatim.

Although this movie was titled "Troll 2" to capitalize on the minor success of Troll (1986), this movie has no connection with the plot or production of the earlier one and in fact contains no trolls.
