Movie Trivia:
- SPOILER: The original conclusion shot for the film had the crazed family getting away with the murders. However the distributors demanded that the film be re-shot with a less downbeat ending. A different conclusion, with Nancy killing the villains, was shot and appears in the theatrical version. There was little time for the re-shoots to be done, so that's why the finale of the film seems rushed and abrupt.
