The plan was to spend one night in the abandoned Royal Crescent Hotel, where in 1985, five students were murdered, their killer never found. What was supposed to be just a night of fun, hunting for the victims' bloodstained rooms, suddenly changes when they find a severed hand and awake an evil presence within the hotel. Now they are running for their lives, trying to solve a mystery one hundred years old-and morning is still very far away.

Movie Trivia:
- The director, Cartney Wearn, went to great pains to convince the actors in pre-production that the severed hands their characters would discover inside the abandoned Royal Crescent Hotel would be real cadaver hands. He made them follow strict protocol when handling the "real" corpse hands on set, and even had the props department take great pains to maintain the illusion. And they did not in fact see the hands until they shot their first take. So the reactions you see in the film are real, even if the hands aren't.
