A bond is formed between two young boys, Mike and James, when a childhood prank goes terribly wrong, and sets off a chain of events that eventually leads to the death of their Grandfather. Fifteen years later they reunite with hopes of forgetting the past, but when the thought of having to get jobs to survive threatens to break them apart, they concoct a brilliant scheme to steal credit card numbers over the air waves. Things turn upside down when their partner in crime, Mr. Fraser, suspects his wife, Casi, of fooling around with James.
