The house that the "vampire sequence" was filmed in was David Boreanaz's house at the time. The majority of the film was shot inside the Panavision building in Tarzana, California, weeks before it was completely gutted and remodeled for a new company (Panavision was located in this spot for decades before it moved to Woodland Hills). The movie documented every room in this cinematically historical building before it was destroyed.
