A group of amateur filmmakers, fresh off completion of their first feature film, decide to shoot a documentary about the homeless in Dallas, Texas. After a few drinks at a bar they roam the early morning streets of downtown, hoping to find homeless Katrina refugees, families who lost their homes due to the mortgage crisis, and Gulf War veterans. Unknown to them, someone else, someone evil, also roams the streets, documenting his own version of what should be done with the homeless. Movie Tagline: A massacre, documented. Cast and crew would wait until the streets were clear of moving cars so as to give the feeling of desolation, despite being in the middle of one of the largest cities in the US. Actual homeless would wander by and hold up the shoot. The film was shot principally in the West End area of downtown Dallas - most of the cast and crew work in the area as bartenders and servers. They would get off work and go straight to location. Shot guerilla style. Cast and crew had to continually dodge the police, trash trucks, street cleaners and actual homeless people.
