More Movie Taglines:
  • The Count is back, with an eye for London's hotpants . . . and a taste for everything
  • The Time: Now. The Place: Kings Road, Chelsea. The Killer: Count Dracula.
  • Past, present or future, never count out The Count!
Movie Quote(s):
  • Professor Van Helsing: There is evil in the world. There are dark, awful things. Occasionally, we get a glimpse of them. But there are dark corners; horrors almost impossible to imagine... even in our worst nightmares.
  • [Writing Johnny Alucard's name backwards] Professor Van Helsing: Oh my God. A disciple!
  • Johnny Alucard: Master, I did it, I summoned you! Count Dracula: It was my will.
  • Johnny Alucard: Dig the music, kids!
  • Bob: Okay, okay, so we'll go to the cavern tomorrow, usual time. Laura will be there. A bit drained, but she'll be there.
Movie Trivia:
  • Renamed for its French and Spanish releases because it was reached theaters there one year later.
  • Paul Annett was offered the chance to direct this project.
  • The music used in the church resurrection scene is "The Black Mass: An Electric Storm in Hell" from the 1969 album "An Electric Storm" by White Noise. The group themselves were an experimental space-age rock combo formed by David Vorhaus and featuring Delia Derbyshire & Brian Hodgson from the BBC Radiophonic Workshop.
  • Four actors in the film appeared in future James Bond films. Christopher Lee played Francisco Scaramanga in The Man with the Golden Gun (1974), Caroline Munro played Naomi in The Spy Who Loved Me (1977), Michael Kitchen played Bill Tanner in GoldenEye (1995) and The World Is Not Enough (1999), and Christopher Neame played Fallon in Licence to Kill (1989).
  • Dracula's taunting of Van Helsing in the church ("You would play your brains against mine, against me who has commanded nations?") directly references Dracula's dialogue from Stoker's novel: "Whilst they played wits against me, against me who commanded nations, and intrigued for them, and fought for them, hundreds of years before they were born, I was countermining them."
