Plot Description:
The Mantle brothers are both doctors - both gynecologists - and identical twins. Mentally however, one of them is more confident than the other, and always manages to seduce the women he meets. When he's tired of his current partner, she is passed on to the other brother - without her knowing. Everything runs smoothly, until an actress visits their clinic, and the shy brother is the first to fall in love. Will they be able to 'share' her ?

Movie Trivia
  1. The movie is based on two real life twins Steven and Cyril Marcus. The two were found dead in their apartment on the Upper East Side of Manhattan. They had killed themselves using barbiturates. The story is told in the novel "Twins" by Bari Wood and Jack Geasland (published 1977).

  2. The bizarre medical equipment created by Dr. Mantle are the same props used by sadistic dentist Orin Scrivello in another Warner Bros. production, Little Shop of Horrors (1986).

  3. The original title, "Twins," was changed because of the identically named Arnold Schwarnegger/Danny DeVito release, Twins (1988).
